Alright here is the issue, I start the car and almost all the time hot or cold sometimes (I would say 60-70%), the car starts first crank fine fires up at about 1k RPM (~1 second), then idles at like 400 RPM for like literally no more then 3-5 seconds then shoots up to normal idle whether its a cold or hot start (1500,1200 respectively). Not sure what to think of it besides that I am almost 100 percent sure I have a little bit of a boost leak and besides that I want to change the plugs but that is just because I have not changed them since I bought it and I just want too. They have about 4000 miles on them I assume they are NGK's because the wires are also. Besides that the car does have DSMlink on it not really tuned aggressively I would say a modest tune at most. I know my sr20 motor always started like this in my 240 and I never thought anything of it, I was told by somebody that it was supposed to. I have since grown from that and think different know about that. Apologies for any grammatical or confusing wording/punctuation (I take theoretical mathematics/statistic courses that require odd writing techniques.)

Thanks again.

I just went for a ride in my friends dsm and it only has a mild tune and its doin the same thing....does yours die or choke after you rev it up and let it settle back down on its own? Its deffinatley in the tune!!!

No man this is only when I start it, like right away. It cranks fires idles low for like a few seconds then shoots up to normal idle. Hmmm it ###### is in the tune, but then why would it happen only some of the time.
