ok welli recently purchased a 95 gst that has a 99 gsx botton with a 95 when i first got the car it idled a little high around 2000 and now for some reason it idles really low as to the point it lobles like it has high left cams any idea? i did notice that the wires that go to the tps connector are a little tight almost like they don't reach. But as to why it used to be high but is now low has me confused:confused:. I just want the damn thing to idle right. Any suggestion are greatly appreciated

No it use to sit at 2000 no matter what hot cold anytime now it idles low all the tike no matter what

I have a almost the same issue but figured out it was a vacuum leak, but it may be different. I would try a vacuum leak test.

I dont know what to tell you, my 6 bolt surges from 1k to 2k until it warms up because it is a 6 bolt (they have some different reasons why), but unless yours is a 6 bolt engine then it could have been a boost leak like someone else commented, and the throttle cable may be too tight like you said.

umm no? i don't think thats right. It shouldn't be surging like that AT ALL. my 6 bolt long block doesn't surge what so ever when i don't have any boost leaks. you might want to do a boost leak test on yours

check your tps, biss screw, or your TB gasket, and test your ics. everything can be found on vfaq.com
