Hi there, I just recently picked up a 92 eclipse GSX AWD and I have been having some troubles:
When I am driving and I let up off the gas and start to coast the car will stall sometimes. It happens when the car is in neutral idling, when the car is in gear and coasting, and when in neutral and coasting.
Also at times when it is at idle it will surge up to roughly 3 grand and stay there, if I turn the car off and back on it seems to go away, most of the time. I havent been having this problem lately but I feel that it is related to the stalling somehow Any ideas as to what it may be?
I was thinking Idle speed motor or MAF
The car has a MAF translator that was previously installed, as well as a SAFC, so I was also thinking just a bad tune with MAF or SAFC?
Thanks in advance
