Acceration Surging

My 97 gst 5-spd will surge under full boost and/or half throttle. I just got the car running and I started noticing it any gear but 1st gear. The car is stock, plastic bov that is leaking but not a ton, the biss o-ring as been replaced due to a massive leak there, but its still doing it. Also the spark plugs are in good condition and the wires are fine. I'm running 93 in the car right now.

Does it surge after you hit a certain RPM or any time u go half throttle or boost?

Above 3k if I remember right.

I would check ECU for leaky caps. I spent a few months on a problem like this and replaced everything before I figured out it was a leaky cap. Other then that I would unplug your MAFT and see if it run better could also be unmetered air getting into the intake.

You said that the spark plugs are in good condition, but are they the right kind?

NGK BPR6ES?

The platinum ones can cause problems.
