So I been away from dsm's for a while, some of you might remember me. So my car i just pick is a 95 talon tsi. 137k miles, I start it and it runs fine but when you rev or drive and let then engine fall back to a idle it will just die out, after it dies out I restart it and the car will start for a sec and stall out.

Check to make sure your MAF is plugged in and clean.

Also, have you had the battery disconnected recently?

I bought the car used, it Sat for two months. The battery was dead when i went to start it. Maf is clean well conected and I have not messed with the biss screw or anything yet. Its been a while since I last worked on one. Bov is recirculating now, guess someone liked the pssshhh sound LOL

Does it run if the don't let the throttle close?

When did you check the ISC and BISS last?

Yes it runs, if I keep feathering the throttle around 1k rpm I can get it to idle again.

That recirculator tube you put on will probably fix it because I didn't have the hose to recirculate mine and sometimes when Itart my car it idled close to zero and tries to die if I try to drive it

Lol was my thought and it didn't work

I had this problem when I had my battery disconnected for about an hour. Apparently the ECU resets and loses its settings for the ISC and other sensors.

I drove it around for about an hour, and the ECU re-learned everything and ran great.
