I have one of those aftermarket stainless steel mufflers and it's all scratched to hell!!!The guy who put it on was cutting some old weld off the muffler and it kept falling on to his stone driveway.I couldn't bi*** cuss he was doing it for $20 (probably just enough for his crack fix!)So how do I get rid of those scratches?I've tried chrome polishing it,but no good results. Please help me!!!!!

All I can suggest is if you are so worried about your stainless muffler, get a cheaper one...

You cant buff it out. Stainless is too hard for a compound to do anything. It's scratched, live with it. You paid $20 and got $20 in work. Have a proper shop do work for you next time and things like this wont happen.

my stainless muffler was all tarnished and rusted... i just used a dremel , and a copper wire brush and now its like crome...

why are you worried what your muffler looks like?!?!?!

um crome polish maybe? yer gonna look REALLY weird down there cleaning your muffler...
