Stainless Steel hoses

Ive never heard of needing a special tool to cut SS hoses...what do they go to? ss Radiator hose? Brakelines? Be a little more specific and people can help you better. But I bet a plasma torch or a circular saw would probably work nicely.

It came with my AFPR kit from Import Evolution. The inside of the hose is the standard rubber fuel line but the outside is braided steal and it is longer than needed.

I just used a saw
I don't know if you'd call that a "special tool" or not...But it worked. Haha. :thumb:

From what femme said, and I doubt you have plasma torch just lying around, so I would say a circular saw, not one of the portable ones but the ones on the tables, and all that good stuff. It would give you a nice clean edge. Oh yeah make sure you wear saftey glasses, saftey first.:D LOL

ROFL what is this killme.com. heh, DO NOT use a circular saw, use a Miterbox saw(chopsaw) or what I used was some snips I got from home depot the are for cutting 3/4" pvc for sprinkler systems, they worked great for me!! I really dont know what else to tell ya.

fourreGsixty3, sorry if you ment chopsaw, just want to be safe, dont want him to get the saw to kick back at him and him loose a finger or cut his leg!:thumb:

Thats what its called, LOL, couldnt think of the name, so I figured that what I said might help someone understand what I was talking about. Thats why I said circular saw on a table...also called the chop saw, hahaha, cant believe I forgot the name. Sorry about the confusion.
