SSAutoChrome.com tubular manifold on Ebay

I'm kind of in the market for a tubular manifold. I was planning on getting the 16G manifold off DSMparts.com but on Ebay I found many of these SSAutoChrome manifolds.

Is this manifold a good buy? What o2 housings could bolt onto it? Where could I get the 14B/16G flange instead of the t25/t28 flange that is included. Any help would be great. Thanks.

hey i dont know much about the manifold, but i bought a header from him when i had my non turbo eclipse. This thing was a beauty. It was very nicely made, the welds were really strong and it didnt leak at all. Seems to me like he sells respectable pieces of equipment

DSMjim posted a pic of an SSautochrome tubular header that was a piece of crap. Welds sucked, it was poorly designed and didn't last long. I would avoid it.

That pic was not at all close to what they look like. Why don't you go to the ebay listing and take a look for yourself.

I bought a midpipe and rear muffler section for my crx from them on ebay. It was great quality and they answered all questions I had before and after the sale. I recommend them, but if you have questions, shoot em an email about any warranty etc. Good luck

My brother bought a turbo manifold for his SR20DET and it looked just okay from the outside but there were drips on the inside and it didn't even directly fit. He had to grind the manifold and shave a bit off his head to make it fit. Personally I think it is a risky proposition as there is about a 50/50 split on horror stories and satisfied customers. Again the old adagy; "you get what you pay for" proves true.
