ok i'm gonna have -8 feed into a -10 filter and then -8 back to the rail. that will be the feed system. should i do -8 from the rail to the reg? or just do -6 from rail to reg? i've read to keep the same size from pump to reg and then go down. i;ll be using the stock feed as a return which is roughly a -6 line. but i just dont know whether or not to use a -8 from rail to reg or -6 rail to reg. thanks in advance

i used a stock feed up to the filter, then a -8 from the filter to the rail...then i used a -6 from the rail to the regulator, then the stock return.

i think a -6 will work fine...especially since its going right back down into the stock return.

i gotcha, i kidna dont see the point of just replacing that one line from filter to rail, i guess for looks. i need a fuel system good for over 500hp. thanks for the input though

well i dont see the point of replacing the stock lines when they will support over 500hp but to each his own....main reason i did it is that i didnt feel like taking my rail out to get fittings welded on twice so i just got a -6 and -8 welded on at the same time..and the stock banjo fitting on the stock filter is good for anything but flow...i have a 12x1.25 to -8 adapter that screws into the stock filter and lets me run braided to the rail..

Similar setup here, except I'm running -6 from the adapter to the rail. If you replace ANYTHING, you should replace that banjo bolt and filter-to-rail line.

i'm the type of person who doesn want to do anything twice, so i'm gonna do -8 feed to a -10 aeromotive filter and then -8 to the rail. then do -8 to the reg and then stock feed as return. i want this fuel system to be capable of anything I ever throw at it. come fall i'll have aem and then i'll pretty much have every thing I need and tuning will be the only thing I can improve on. thanks for the input guys

Ok, well Why are you doing a -10AN filter onto -8AN lines? That wont increase your flow because its going right back down to -8AN. All its gonna do is cause you to have to buy -8An to -10An adapters.:)
