Just to let people know, a SS braided line is a good idea, BUT if you are like me, you might run into an issue.
The kit I ordered was the Slowboy one, so I'm not sure if this applies to other vendor's kits.
The issue was with the 3/8" NPT to -4AN 90 degree elbow that comes out of the oil filter housing. When fully tightened (even with teflon - though I don't like that stuff) it was over 90 degrees facing the wrong direction. In other words toward the driver side wheel instead of the passenger side wheel. This put too much tension on the line itself and prohibited me from fully tightening the line, hence a crappy little oil leak. I could start the car, but I couldn't drive it.
Now, the solution is easy. Go to NAPA or A and A, or Autozone or wherever. Get a 3/8"NPT to -4AN male to male fitting. It will go into the oil filter housing. Then get a -4AN to -4AN 90 degree swivel fitting with a male end and a female end. The female end will go on the other fitting, and the male end will go into the SSB oil feed line. Both parts I got were from the AEROQUIP catalog. The Russels and Earls ones didn't have them. This allows for more flex in the line which will allow better securing of the line as well as solving the aforementioned problem.
I hope this helps anyone that might be getting a SS turbo oil feed line.
