My 95 eclipse gsx manual has the SRS light on. The previous owner replaced the steering wheel with a talon steering wheel which leads me to believe that's the cause. I was reading that 95s have two airbag sensors and the other years don't. Is this true? They were saying just the SRS ECU is the sensor on all other years. Anyone have any info on this? I'm hoping that I'm not stuck to only parts cars that are only year 95 to fix my SRS light. Also are there crash sensors on the bumper? I know on a lot of cars there are two sensors behind the front bumper. Not sure if that's the same with my car and if anyone knows where they are at.
I found this diagram for the 95s. https://www.mitsubishipartswarehous...lY2xpcHNlJnk9MTk5NSZ0PWdzdCZlPTItMGwtbDQtZ2Fz
I can't find anything that resembles an impact sensor in the front bumper. Not sure if they were removed or my car just didn't come with them. helpp
