I know that on the chrysler systems the charging system is controlled by the ecm I've seen where the voltage regulator in the ecm has gone bad and thrown those lights. Try putting another ecm in it and see if that helps any.

Idk if you've tried anything yet but I had the same problem on mine and it turned out to be the alternator. That was an easy one for me being that I know electricals, AND when I went to check it with the car running, saw the damn thing smoking and sparking LOL. It is known for these alts to go bad so I'm positive that that's your issue

What does ECM stand for, where could I find it?

Thanks, I will check it out tomorrow in the afternoon.

Sounds like a bad chassis ground, or the alternator is starting to go.

do this first..

Check your wiring, and loose connections, anything small can cause problems.

and this....

2G that my neighbor owns had the same issue.. srs and alt lights were on.. did everything as suggested above and ended up replacing the alternator and BAMMMM!! problem solved...

On my 2g as well same signs were my alternator, Also the tests at autozone will show your alternator working even though if it tests that the alternator is good. Autozone had me running around for a week trying to figure out what it was, ended up changing the alternator and everything was fixed.

Has the car been wrecked? Could either be the spot for the bad ground, or cause for srs system malfunction.

iv gone through two alternators, both times those lights stayed on. once i replaced the alternator it went away, changing it is pretty easy.

Yep I would go test the alternator first off... Not sure about 2g's but on the 1g's when your charging light and low coolant light comes on its trying to tell you your alternator is bad.

Honestly I think that the car could have been wrecked or has had some kind of front end damage.
The more I look under the hood the more i'm finding out that the car has been N****r rigged together.
I've looked for random wires hanging but I'm not finding any.
