i posted this somewhere else but didnt get ne responses. i wanted to know if the 4g63 would be an easy swap seeing that the 4g64 are similar would there be any major fabrications that i would have to do or all im gonna need is the mounts from the gst. i know everyone is gonna say just do the hybrid which i will but i wanna build that motor n have a spare motor on the side just in case. i know im going to need tranny ecu motor blah blah blah but as far as mounts should it bolt back in? i havent seen any threads on this n was hopeing some1 could help me out thanks

Engine/tranny mounts should be the same. The 4g64 is essentially the same as the 4g63 so bolting that in place shouldnt be a problem. there are some other altenatives to using a 4g63 when you can just build up another 4g64 to handle boost, along with maybe a dohc head swap.

yea thats my plan but before i actually do that i wanna make sure that i do it correctly so there r no problems n such. so i figured having a 4g63 as a spare motor wouldnt hurt ne plus later on after i do the swap i can jus take off all the turbo parts from that motor n jus use it on my 4g64 i know its gonna be expensive but i think in the end its worth the extra money
