Sputtering when boosting

Well first off I have had this problem for a while now and can't find the answer When I start my car it sounds like it's missing in a cylinder and when driving it and right about when it's hitting boost it will sputter. Any help I'd really appreciate it guys, thanks!

Check your plugs. If it looks fine, make sure to gap them to the right gap size, .028 is standard.

I second that^^. I had this problem the other day. One end of one of my cables was all corroded, switched them out and now its running fine!

And check for boost leaks

The plugs are new and gapped correctly, thanks for the input guys! Any more suggestions?

And I did a boost leak test with a homemade tester and couldn't find anything, I'm not sure where to get a legit tester

try a known good coil pack, wires, and ptu.

+ on wires, fixed all of my sputtering issues

New coil packs are on and no difference

Check injector clips one of mine was loose a while ago caused similar issuse for me

Do you have a real boost gauge on your car ? If so, what psi is it sputtering ?

Oh you know what else it could be... you might have lost the boost source to the fuel pressure regulator. Without it your pressure doesn't rise with boost and you... sputter with boost. Happened to me when I forgot to reconnect the line after some work.

I do have a real boost gauge but it only works sometimes (needs rewired) and ngk plugs, I don't have a air/fuel ratio gauge but what it sounds like is it's getting to much fuel but I'm not quite sure how to check timing and TSiAWD666 Tell me a little more
