I have had this problem with my 90' Talon TSI when....i take it on the highway i go moderate on the throttle and there really isnt a problem. This is in the morning.. though when the car gets pretty warm and the heat of the day is up...and i get hard on the gas and it boosts above 8-10psi the car seems to sputter/ vibrate and looses like 50% of the power. Now when this happens i smell exhaust like fumes in the car (windows up, more with them down). Now i do have a crack in the turbo manifold and the car seems to run rich. but im not too sure how to attack this problem and what to do first. i was told it might be the waste gate??? and someone also told me that it could be a fuel issue....im really at a loss. any help would be appreciated. thanks

You may have fouled plugs, or your car may be running too rich. Try pulling your plugs and see what they look like on the tips, and replace them as well as your wires while your at it.

alright thanks, now if my car is running to rich how to lean it out? or do i have to take my car in somewhere.....
