Ok so I got my car back today and was driving home and noticed that when I got on it the turbo would spool only up to 10 psi, and if I tried to go more the car would buck, I have an after market BOV and a HMBC and an aftermarked Boost guage. I thought it was the BC but I checked the instructions and It's hooked up right. Whats wrong with my car? I also changed the spark plugs too. Please Help!

I just had the boot on the axel fixed and a couple little things. But this is the first time really driving the car since I did the engine swap.

First thing is first, try a boost leak test.
Then follow it up with a compression test and post up results. Also, what was the reason for the swap? The more info you give, the easier it is to help you.

I had the engine in my 90 GSX the body was horrible so I got a shell transferd the engine to the Talon. I think I know whats going on. When I driove the GSX up the street a few times I didnt have any turbo boost problems, then I switched to an RFL bov. Im thinking there the problem lyes. Cause I didnt have any problems before that bov. Should I Switch back to the 1g BOV? It's crushed so Im sure I can run 18+psi saftly.

That would be the next logical step, you shouldn't be venting anyway. Keep in mind that a defective or improperly setup BOV can cause compressor surge and kill your turbo really fast, I would check the turbo for shaft play prior to the next test run, let's hope the damage isn't already done.

I would chek on the instalation of the B/C make your your bleeding it right .. I had a boost problem like that but the opposite it would run open boost even with the B/C shut off. Also if you think it's the bov do the boost leak test and see how that goes an easy way to tell if its your BOV is if you get on it into boost you hear a sweal coming from the motor is most likely is coming off the bov and needs to be tightened.

Update: Ok further testing I drove it down the street and back. I checked for loose bolts and checkd for anything that could be causing the leak. I did silcone the film canister that is shoved in the hole where the old bov reserculator went. Still driving I get the same problem. But it seems there is a leak somewhere cause I get the WOOSH sound then a lighter WISH sound after 3rd gear. I tried to tighten the bov on top like the Greddy's but still same issue. What could be the problem? Oh, turbo still has no shaft play. Could it also be that I dont have a gasket where the bov connects to my UICP.
