my car is bogging at 10 psi. it is a 2g gsx. i also have white smoke coming out of the exhaust. what i have in my car is dejon tool upper i/c, hks b.o.v and cat-back, greddy profec b 2 boost controller, act clutch and flywheel, autometer gauges (a/f, boost, oil pressure) and a s-afc.

Is the white smoke coming out of your exhaust only after it hasn't been warmed up, or is it continuous. If its just when its warming up, nothing to be worried about, its just evaporating water that condensed in your exhaust. If its after its been warmed up, usually white smoke is a sign of a blown/leaky headgasket. Not sure if bogging would be a symptom of this, but you might want to check your o2 volts to see if your running too rich/lean. Also make sure your BOV is recirculated, sometimes people have bogging problems when they vent. Hope that helps!

well i did a compression test and it came out good. i bought some new spark plugs (denso) and put them in. the car ran good, but for some weird reason the spark plug wire from cylinder 3 kept popong out. after a while, like about 45 min. the car bogs again. i take the sparks out and they end up looking the same as the old plugs. they look burnt or kinda blackish color, at the end of the thread it's black.

Yea you are running PIG rich! What settings are on the SAFC? You need to lean it out a bit (use a wideband O2). Also you should run NGK BPR6ES plugs, im not sure how well the densos work but BPR6ES plugs are proven ;)!

alright i'll use the O2, but why does the spark plug wire pop out? if i put in the MSD 8.5mm super conductors the spark plug wire pops out, but when i put in the stock spark plug wires they don't pop out. WTF! oh,....yeah the shops i went didn't have any NGKs so i got the spark plugs that were closes to NGKs......the denso.

Thats kind of weird that the wire pops out. Is the plug screwed in all the way? It might be leaking compression if its not which might cause it to blow the wire off. IDK

I had the same problem when I got those wires also but after I kept pushing them back on a few times they eventually stuck in place. And yes you're way to rich, bogging is usually too much gas at that moment, try taking some out like previously mentioned.

Thanks everyone i fixed the bogging! :thumb: the car is running real good at 14.6 psi. now to install the warblo fuel pump.
