When im driving my car ill gun it and at certain rpms it will bog alittle, it kinda feels like the clutch is slipping. Its like a quick drop in power then power picks back up again. I have the stock boost gauge and the gauge doesnt drop down so i dont think its anything like that.

It also has a hole in the exhaust do you think that could be it. Its not to bad its just the idiot before me wanted it to be louder.

Thanks alot i appreciate the help.

My car was doing the same thing there for a while and then I got a logger and found out I was running really rich causing it to bog down.

Could it be the greddy type s blow off valve i put. Its recirculated but do you still think that would cause it to be rich.

Did this problem start before or after you put your BOV on. There is a lot of things that could cause it to run a little rich, but then running rich might not even be your problem. Im just saying that sounds like what it is but the only way to find out for sure is to check your fuel trims & o2 voltage with a logger of some sort. Is the BOV the only mod you have ?

Yes it is my only mod and i dont know because i didnt drive it till after i put the blow off valve.

Does the car blow out a lot of black smoke at wot, that could be a sign of running ritch, or carbon build up on your spark plugs. If you still have your stock BOV you could try putting that back on and seeing if it still bogs. Have you checked for boost leaks since the install? If not that might cause your problem. You said it might be your clutch slipping, what does your rpms do while this is happening, if they slightly increase then fall back down then it could be the clutch. When was it last changed? I know this is a lot of questions but the more info you give the easier it will be do determine the problem.

Try replacing the plugs and wires, took my bogging away completely.

Ill check all that later and update you but how do you check for boost leaks?

I also just disassembled all the intercooler piping and intake and found a good amount of oil in them. So i cleaned them all out and everything. I also found that it looks like the previous owned cut the stock intercooler hoses and put metal pipe inbetween and clamped it down. Is that suppose to be there?
