My car pulls good up to 10 psi, but then it bogs, and goes back down to 8-9 psi. Then it will pull hard right back up to 10-11 psi, but bog right back down again. I finally just got my last book leak fixed and was hoping the problem would be fixed, but its not. Plugs are gapped correctly. The problem is a lot worse in 4th and 5th gear.

hows your tune? any wideband or 02 reading you can look at to see if your leaning out or running to rich.. sounds like you fixed your boost leak but now that your getting the right air you dont have enough fuel..

I have AEM gauges, it does get pretty rich under wide open throttle. I have no idea what size the injectors are, the guy I bought the car from just said they are "pretty big", so who knows. And I don't have a good tuning software yet, I'm stuck with the SAFC2. I'll be tuning with ECUflash/Ceddymods whenever I get the cable. I guess tomorrow Ill try leaning out the high rpm settings to see if that helps.

i would dig and try to figure out what you have before you start messing around with air/fuel mix.. it could just end up being something you "HAD"...

Figure out what kind of injectors you have. Take a picture of them and im sure someone here will be able to identify how big they are. That is most likely the cause of your problems.

If they are aftermarket won't I have to pull one of them and check the numbers on them to figure out what they are?

Pretty rich as in like it will occasionally max out the gauge if I stay in it long enough LOL. I was thinking this was some sort of wastegate/boost leak problem limiting air and causing it to go rich, guess I really didn't think about it actually overfueling. I have the SAFC set at like over -20% in the upper rpms in the high throttle setting already. I'll pull an injector sometime in the next few days if needed.

I also have a Walbro 255, but no afpr as of yet, could this be part of the problem?

Well, it looks like i have PTE 680 cc injectors. The numbers on top are 3236 17113814. Looks like these could be part of my problem LOL. Gonna order my cable this weekend and then start tuning with Ceddymods next week!

the fpr is probably part of your problem as well with the walbro 255 it tends to max out what the stock fpr can handle and if the fuel pump isnt rewired the pump will change psi depending on what the amperage draw is at the time.. i.e. when your turnsignals are on, headlights, brakes, etc... you can physically hear it change tones when your driving as well depending on what rpm your driving.

Well when taking them out some of the black rings that seals in the injector hole broke in two, will I be able to get replacements of these or am I screwed?

Replacements are easy to find. They come in sets of 4 so you should replace them all at once. Bet you had major boost leaks there if the seals were in that bad of shape... Change the seals and do another boost leak test.:thumb:

Ya I'm hoping that those were also a part of my problem. Gonna order new seals and my openport cable today and then update on how it runs.

So I took the SAFC off now that I have ECUflash/Ceddymods/Evoscan. So far I have only done WOT and idle tuning. Got those close to perfect. Car still cuts off at 10 psi. I logged knock and didn't have any. When I look at airflow/rev, I can see right where its bogging. Right when it hits 200, it will jump back down to around 175, and then come right back up. It will not go over 200 for whatever reason. Im new to this whole tuning thing and dont really know what any of this info means, so any help would be appreciated.
