So about a year ago I spun my rod bearings. I finally got the motor rebuilt had it done at a shop this time and it is ready to go back in. They told me I needed to get a new oil cooler as they are impossible to clean out. This is a 99gsx motor so the cooler is mounted under the oil filter. This got me thinking what else do I need to clean out? Turbo? oil feed lines? Are they right on the Oil Cooler needing replacement? Thanks in advance for the help.

Replace;
Oil filter housing, oil cooler and lines, oil pump, oil pickup tube, lifters and squirter valves.

Also be sure to disassemble the head and clean out the oil galleys. They can hide a lot of crud. Plus the turbo and lines that were already mentioned.
