Spring Return Clip on Clutch Fork

I cant find it anywhere here in my garage.... Can i just wrap a piece of wire around to connect it to the t.o.b.? Thanks. I need hels asap

Yes its necessary, its the TOB retaining clip. Its $5 from TRE or probly $2 from Conicelli.

I made one fom spring metal I got at a hardware store. I needed it immediately. Its all together, too late to start it up though, so i'll test it in the middle. I see all it does is hold the tob to the clutch fork. What i did SHOULD work fine. From testing it by pushing the pedal down it seems to be fine.
