Are 1g turbo cars supposed to have a clutch pedal return spring, to bring the clutch pedal all the way back up. My clutch pedal assembly is bad, I was also wondering how bad it is to drive around without getting full motion from the clutch master cylinder.

Yes, they do. It's to keep the weight of the pedal from closing the compensation port in the master cylinder. Leave it off, and it'll lead to abnormal clutch wear.

Non turbo and turbo cars have different assemblies. Please note spring labeled 1. Only the brake pedal has a little spring on a turbo car.

Are you thinking of spring 9 right? How can you even use the clutch pedal without that spring?

Spring 9 is simply there to help linearize the clutch load, due to the non-linear turbo clutch load.

I was thinking of spring 1. You are correct, based on the manual, that they are different. Weird though, as all my cars, non-turbo and turbo, have that return spring #1. Must be mis-builds.
