I got my 2g Eclipse GST. It only had the metal battery "shelf" no mount. so it was sitting on a piece of plywood and moving around a bit. I put on an adjustable mount so its stable and after that, Speedometer and Odometer don't work. I know theres a little wire that goes to the tranny...i just dont know where it is. Any suggestions or help.

yep, sounds like the wire clip came off the speed sensor - it's located on top of the tranny just below the throttle body

You need to make sure the wiring that goes to the sensor is not damaged and that it's actually plugged to the sensor. If everything looks good, then the sensor could be worn/damaged and will need to be replaced. Like mentioned the sensor sits on top of the tranny...

any pictures maybe? there's a few wires coming from the tranny....

EDIT

Found it, the plug wasn't attached at all. Plugged it back in and works great. Must have bumped it while i was putting that rack in.
