The other day I was getting on the gas pretty good. Not too much but a good amount. Suddenly my speedometer spiked from 60 to 100 and kept spiking back and forth as it went down. Now anytime i get above 40mph the speedometer will spike from a 5mph range to sometimes 40mph meaning 60-65 or 40 to 80. Any help would be appreciated.

You need a new VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) and you can pick one up here 2g VSS. Once you remove your old sensor you'll want to remove the gear from it and install it in the new one you get. The VSS is located smack dab in the middle of your rear motor mount just under your intake manifold.
