Ok here's the story, I broke the tranny on my 98 GSX. So I bought a used JDM tranny, I didn't think there was anything JDM that was compatible with a USDM 2G but the site said it worked so I picked it up. the entire install went perfect till I realized that the speed sensor in the tranny was a cable one like on a 1G. So I went to take it out like I did the one on the original tranny but the little bastard wont come out. I figured all it would take is to remove that little 10mm bolt, is there some kind of clip or something else holding it in? I really don't want to have to pull the tranny back out to fix it if I can avoid it. Any help would be much appreciated.

sometimes the sensors get stuck in there because they have a little rubber oring on some of them that gets stuck over time. On my buddys zx2 escort the speed sensor broke off on the top so i had to use a pointy chisle and lightly tap it under the base of the sensor to get it to pop up and brake loose but im not sure what kind of a sensor the eclipse has.
