speed sensor help

So here is my issue, my car is a 95 and my transmission is a 97 but I need. A speed sensor and the part numbers are different for those years for the speed sensor and the nylon gears for the sensor also have different part numbers. It seems that both sensors have a 3 prong connection so I was leaning toward ordering the 97 to match the tranny. What do you guys think? Any help would be much appreciated as this is the only thing holding me back from
driving. Thanks -wes. The 97 sensor is md749149 and 97 gear is md749150 and the 95 sensor is md756606 and 95 gear is md746492

You should use the 97-99 which the ratios on the transmission is different.

Just cal JNZ and they will order it for you, they have a good knowledge about our cars.

JNZ said to go with a 1997 to match the trans. It will be here tomorrow i hope it works. thanks man

Will either of those sensors work on a first gen trans that I am trying to figure out a way to hook up an Autometer speedometer? I heard they would but can not remember where or if it was true. Thanks.
