Specific cam years?

So I'm wanting to upgrade my cams to 272. Looking at a set of cower for sale on here but I was told that they have to be specific for 97+ bc of the cam angle sensor. But when I go look on websites to order from company they all say 90-99. So guess the question is, is there a specific year that I have to order and why don't they give the option what year you have on websites?

I thought 90-99 all cams were the same as far as upgrading goes???

That's what I thought also but the guy that's gunna machine wash my head said that about the cams so now I'm hesitant about buying cams off the forums.

it says on the Brian crower website, "Both the 1st gen and 2nd gen 4G63 engines use the same camshafts." I would hope they know the right information.

In the early years hks cams needed to have the intake cam machined when dealing with cam sensors but now majority of the aftermarket world they come with that provision.

97-99 intake cam needs to be drilled and tapped for the CAS.

Ok so no matter which cam set I buy off here or from a website il have to drill it for the CAS?

All of today's aftermarket cams have the provision only hks did that. Where u had to have intake cam drilled
