1G Spec on Keydriver chip

You have the specs right there short of reading the chip in and looking at all the settings.

It says that chips is programmed to be a AWD version with 7500 RPM rev limiter, 6000 RPM clutch cut, using 660cc injectors, a 3G MAF and a target WOT AFR of 11:1. The factory boost gauge displays knock.

I expect it has both launch control (stutterbox) and clutch cut (NTLS) (what I call a 3 step) so it requires the clutch switch to be wired to the ECU. No way to tell what the RPM selections for launch control are from the listing. The defaults are usually something like 4000, 4500, 5000, 5500, and 6000. and you set it just like you do with a TMO chip by pressing the clutch in and tapping the throttle when the ECU is on but you haven't started the car. The stock boost gauge will move to indicate which setting. The ECU will remember it between restarts until you change it or reset the ECU.

So I would need the clutch wire hooked up to adjust the 2 step?

Alright well clutch wire hooked up, its set at 4500 rpm. I cant seem to adjust it. but its were I would want it. The only thing now is why isnt my boost raising? it goes up to 0-5 psi. Thanks a bunch Steve.

The ability to adjust the settings depends on a working IPS. The ECU has to see the IPS open and close.

Since Jeff only has one possible thing to select you may not need to push the clutch in while tapping the gas.

Make sure you are doing this before you first start the car, ignition on but engine not running. When you tap the gas the boost gauge should move, five different positions and then loop to the first.

Hmm ill have to test my IPS and make sure its working correctly. I know its hooked up but ill run some tests on it. Would I have a bad idle during closed loop if the chip is meant for 660 injectors and the evo maf. I am running 550 injectors with 2g maf. I have it tuned correctly, just a loppy idle and it wont stay idled. Open loops it idles good. The isc driver looks to be okay on the ecu. With my other ecu the idle is perfect. Stock cams. Thanks.

Also, could I edit this chip with this http://http://cgi.ebay.com/Dual-Power-Willem-EPROM-Programmer-PCB-5-0C-SMD-/130561448506?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e66119a3a

Or my original eprom chip or should I buy a blank chip?
