- searched and found multiple topics on this but I wasn't able to come to a comclusion on whether I should be running 6es or 7es.

I am running 12 lbs of boost for now and have the following mods.

Walbro 255
Fpr
Fmic
Topline pistons
Greddy type s
Dsmlink wideband o2
3" tbe

Should I be usuing 6es or 7es spark plugs?
thanks.

You should use 6's. They are recommended for under 18psi. Get some 7's when you up the boost. Spark plugs are really cheap anyways.

I am currently using bpr7's and i have no problem. I'd recommend using 6's for your setup, but with that 16g i'm sure you'll want to crank it up past 18 every now and then, wouldn't hurt to get 7's.

I have 7s right now but I'm thinking of going with your suggestions and going with 6s for right now while I'm tuning

run the 6es until you up the boost

Agreed. I'd also recommend changing the plugs every other oil change for optimal performance (at some points it may be almost completely negligible, but pulling your plugs regularly is a good idea to see how your engine is doing.)

6es are fine you don't need anything more than that at 12lbs. I was just talking to my cousin about this the other night...odd?
