So I just installed ngk7es in my car. Turn it up, fires right up, tach jumps everywhere. 1k, 1500, 1200. Like it is bouncing up and down, turn the car off, start it back up, same thing, let it idle for 30 seconds. It is still jumping. I put the old ngk r plugs back in, works fine, tach is normal.
Now with the 7's the idle SOUNDS steady, but the tach is jumpy. Previous owner said that the 6es were fine but he always had a problem with 7es. Now my question to you all is what could this be, how could it interfere with the tach. What happens when I run 20+ psi and need a colder plug? What are my options. Mainly Im looking to figure this problem out, everyone from this area has never seen this problem.
