Spark Plug

i was wondering if there is any spark plug out there thats just a tad bit bigger in diameter that i could use for my 95 gst, the thread on one of the holes in the head was striped out and a healey coil? was put in here, but its just a little bit wider.

what kind of plugs are u using right now? are u heavily modded? i dont know what you mean about wider plugs but for dsms the consensus (sp?) on plugs would have to be either the 7es or the 6es NGK's depending what mods u have.

One of two things. Either the helicoil has stripped out or they used the wrong helicoil. Either way you are probably in trouble. I would definitely have a machine shop look at that one. If you can trailer it to them, have them look at it. They make all sizes of helicoils. I'm not so sure they don't make one to fix this problem, however I haven't run across it. A reputable machine shop should have them by the drawers full. Besides, it may keep you from pulling the head which I know you are just itching to do. ;o)

...nah thats what i dont want to do...i just put the head back on...(i should of checked it before i did, i know) and i dont have any mods to be honest, intake, turbo back 3" exhaust, and a 16g, and no the threads are not stripped, its brand new, just a little bit wider, i mean just enough to be able to screw it in there, but not to tighten it, if that makes any sense?...i would apreciate any help...thanks
