95 gst eprom, cas has block off plate, cps on cam gear is there and plugged up,power to all three wires going into coil packs but no spark at plugs ...... all this happened after i took the lash ajusters out for cleaning due to tapping i zip tied the timing belt ,took the cam caps off pulled rockers an ajusters then re assembled it all then tried to start the car an all it does is turn over it has plenty of volts, fuel, air just no spark oh and ecu is good please help :banghead:

Just installed new coil packs still nothing any ideas

need info on the cam and crank angle sensors and what controls the firing of the coil packs

Thing is that it ran before i took the lifters out and i never touched anything down there

:thumb: problem resolved after many hours of scratching my head come to find out if the crank angle sensor throws a fault code to the ecu it does not allow spark to be transmitted to the plugs untill you plug into the obd2 service port with a scanner and clear the fault then it fired right up. Go figure only on a dsm would this happen. Hope this topic helps someone with there spark issues in the future and thanks for all your help and now to do a tapping noise post freaking lash ajusters grrrr btw car is for sale $3500
