sorry on the overkill of CAI...but an extension??

i noticed on www.autoaccessorystore.com they have an injen short ram air for a 89-94 eclipse...my car...so i was gonna order one of those. but then i see they have a cold air extension and for availablity it just says eclipse 4 cylinder non-turbo non spyder so im assuming it would work with my 93 eclipse non-turbo? the only thing is...the short ram air is 182 bucks and the extension is 54...alot of money to throw down for an intake....thanks guys

I THINK ITS AN EXTENSION IF YOU ALREAD HAVE A COLD AIR INTAKE, WHICH I DONT THINK THEY MAKE FOR THE 1ST GEN NON TURBO, UR BETTER OFF JUST SPENDING THE MONEY ON THE SHORT RAM, I DID AND ITS WORTH THE MONEY, OR U COULD SHOP AROUND AND SEE IF U CAN FIND CHEAPER OR ON EBAY.COM, GOOD LUCK.

You do not need a CAI for it because...its an EXTENSION to turn your short ram into a CAI.

BUT, correct if Im wrong, that CAI extension is for the 420a. (hence the non-spyder)

You could try it, if you want to spend the cash to find out.

as far as i know, the injen extension will only work on 2gnt's. you could always try it out tho, it does work. i had it on mine for a while

thanks for the opinions...i think im just gonna try one of those 30 dollar short rams off ebay and put a k&n filter on it...see how that does
