Hi there, hope I get an answer this time
I rised the boost till 25 psi and I'm so happy with the power I got with c16 and GM MAF, I tuned the car by S-AFC and left all the setting in zero on the MAFT because I didn't want to keep going to the hood till I tune it right!
Anyway I love to spin my car alot, I was so happy because it was spinning like hell with that psi, actually with 9 psi I used to spin 1st, 2nd gear but the tires weren't that good I had Dunlop, now with Michlen I wasn't able to spin at before in the 2nd, but with 25 psi, I spinned in a new gear which is 3rd gear, I'm so happy with the power, but I should let the 2nd gear hit the limiter so when I ever I shift to the 3rd I don't get that ugly lag, by the way if you didn't read my old posts I have T3/To4e 60 trim, the last time I shifted to the 2nd and floor it I got a very bad wheel spin then HAS A SOUND LIKE BEARING, actually I was very worried about the engine I though it was the engine and I felt the car hitted a break after this sound came, I was in front of my mechanic garage, he said this isn't your engine I thought I had this power to bent or breaking connecting rod bearing
, but then I relised the sound is coming from the tranny, we thought it might be the shafts then as I said it's the tranny it self, when the car in Normal mode I can shift through all the gears and every shift feels the same as it was also the reverse is the same but when ever I try to move there is something like locking the gear in ever shift actually I only tried 1st and reverse moving the car but I can move the car reverse more than 1st but it's still locking with weired sound like shaft broke, I'm sure nothing happened to my fork or ratio or sencro because I wasn't power shifting and all the gears seem the same while I'm idled, what do you think I've break and why did I get that problem?
PLEASE GUYS I NEED YOUR HELP, I e-mailed TRE AND SHEP about having racing tranny, as you know I can't ship my tranny then send it back to me because I'm living in Bahrain, very far away from US and it will take time and alot of money till it reach there, so I was wondring if I can buy a tranny which builted by them but I want FWD because I'm racing for top speed and I need the long short ratio in the first gears or I'll spin more, they both said they have AWD tranny which need to change the flywheel to match the new tranny and to make new hole for something else
Please guys help I might be able to fix the tranny, what happened exactly and what should I do, we can fix trannies over here.
