Something Happened i am Clueless Help

i was driving down the road, and i heard a pop and it cut off, and lost brakes and steering, and i got it home started it up and floored it and didng got about 3k, and the brake fluid container lid poped off???? im lost and i need quick help Thanks

Define "cut off". Do you mean the engine cut out or the pop stopped and you lost power steering and brakes?

And when you were driving it, were you pushing it or just cruising along?

Was it making any strange sounds before hand, like a belt squeeling?

With just the info you've given it sounds like a massive failure in your power brake system which works off of your vacuum system, which inturn could cause your engine to stall out. But again that is only a guess based upon some scarce information.

well i went back outside for further inspection and found that a ic hose has came loose, but i dont understand why the brake cap thing woul dhave came off??? and why i lost my brakes? i dont get it
