Something Broke

I Own A 91 Gsx With Many Mods. I Installed A Tre Transmission About A Year Ago And A Act 2600. Yesterday I Was Doing A Hole Shot At 6000. I Heard And Pop And It Popped Out Of Gear. I Went To Go Put It Back In And Took Off. It Felt Like A Bad Clutch With Out The Smell. I Then Drove It About 5 Miles Home. It Shifted Fine And The Clutch Felt Good. But Everytime I Gave It To Much Gas The Rpms Went Up And The Car Did Not Gain Any Speed. I Heard Not Grinding And Gear Noise. If You Have Any Suggestions Let Me Know.

I had the same problem with my 1990 talon and it was the shifting linkage cables. They broke behind their mounts on the transmission and would shift fine unless under power or high tork. Because they were broken, it would not go all the way into the gears.

the car sifts with no problem it feels like most of the poer is not getting to the wheels

just a guess but do you think that you broke part of the driveaxle.
