Some transmission advice needed..

it started off a few months ago my car would occassionly grind going into 2nd gear... ive babied it for so long and earlier today i noticed a puddle of fluid under it.. ok ready for the story befroe i could tell my fiance not to drive it that its leaking i get in the shower she takes the car i get out of shower my cell rings answer the car wont move... jump in her mirage that has bad engine drive the 10 minutes push my eclipse it into a parking spot.. im supposed to be moving to flordia in 2 weeks and really pressed for cash and the mirage is being sold off for 200. What my question is will the mirage tranny be enough to get me down to flordia were my transmision will be sent out to good ol shep? oh by the way the mirage is the 1.8l sohc... 4g37 i belive?? corect me if im wrong! ive searcehed a few mirage sites along with dsmtuners but was unable to find an answer...

Lable me confused, but if you are selling the Mirage, how are you going to have the tranmission to make it down to Florida? I suppose lack of information plays a large part in why there are so few responses to this thread so far. WTF

if its the same tranny from the 4g37 eclipse, it wont fit i believe the bell housing are different....

Well buddy rent a car or just go to a bone yard and see if you can get a stocky for now.

if the transmission would fit i was going to pull it from the mirage, and not sell the mirage rather just scrap it. my girlfriends dad has an old friend that works at amco so i might be going there for a rebuild
