Hey guys,
it was hard to take good (focused) pictures of this. This is what I saw when I pulled the exhaust manifold from my head. Exhaust port of cylinder 1 had a bit of fluid in it. It was not greasy, and it didn't have a particular smell.
I have no clue what could cause this, the head had a complete rebuild last year. New seals, valves, springs, camshafts, new everything. I have a new steal head gasket and ARP head bolts where used.
I don't think this could be related to a head gasket problem because the gasket is below the exhaust ports, it seems weird to me that it could have come out of the valves because I would think everything that comes out there is burned..
The pictures are from a week ago, the car has been sitting with the manifold removed and the fluid dried up.
Any ideas of what this fluid could have been? I'm clueless..
