hey guys i finally got my evoscan and actually got it working! so i went down the highway and did some 3rd gear pulls, i started with 8lbs and my idc was 40% and timing was 25 deg advanced, i then went to 18lbs and my idc was 81% and timing was 17 deg advanced. i forgot to log knock which i will do later tonight, but is my timing ok at 18lbs? or is that way to retarted? also is my idc ok like that? i did a second gear pull and it jumped to 84% but thats as high as i seen it. any info would be greatly appriciated

depending on your gas, 16-19 and a a/f ratio of 11.1 is ideal for a WOT pull in third. The more you can get away with the more power you make, but usually any higher on regular gas and people start seeing knock.

Your duty cycles should be fine.

Sounds like everything is in order. Though I'm going to bet you're running just a tad leaner than 11.1 AFR, since for some reason I have it stuck in my head that 18-19 degrees of timing advance is perfect for a mixture of 11.1. Turn the boost back one PSI, maybe two, and you'll have it just right.

Saying you jumped from 8 to 18 pounds makes it sound like you got lucky. LOL Either you omitted the boring middle part, or you should have made more gradual increases. My turbo would have slapped me for doing such a thing!

i havent gotten a true af reading yet think my wideband isn't any good honestly. but i started with 8 then jumped to 14 and then to 18 and i just click low med or high on my evc and away we go!! i just need to get it on the dyno and make sure it's tued exacly right!
