6 bolt, 2g, 7 bolt ect...questions

So currently i'm building a 95 GSX from the ground up (bought the shell). And i'm still debating where to take the project, i'm very familiar with DSMs (this being my 10th) however it's my first engine build and all that.

So i already have a rebuild 2g head that's ready to go. I was thinking about putting it on a 6 bolt block. If i choose to go that route should i use a 1g tranny and make a new mounting braket? Or 2g tranny with conversion kit? Or is the 6 bolt just far to much work and build a 7 bolt and risk crankwalk? I'm planning on selling the car after it's done, just a basic stock build with a t25.

Just get a seven bolt. Crank walk is not really as common as people make it out to be. If your woried go with a 98+ block with split thrust bearings. If you went with a six bolt then you would use 2g trans. No need for any adaptor kit. Clutch is enterchangable too only change would be flywheel. You would need a six bolt engine mount braket on drivers side/ timing belt side. If you plan on doing anything you might as well get a 14b instead of t25.

My advice is just get a 7 bolt and call it a day. If your not planning on modding it that much you don't have anything to worry about and even if you were I still wouldn't worry. I'm building a 400+HP 7 bolt

Awesome, just what i wanted to hear. Ya i'm not looking to push much, hence the t25. I will probably put in an ACT clutch instead of stock just so increase selling value, so people can mod it easy without splitting engine and tranny to replace clutch.
