See if you can get money for scraping it. I would not put it in my car though no matter how good it cam out.

Wow man thats crazy.. Talk about DeToNATION out the ass..haha Glue stick and Jb weld your good too go..

Lol next time i think you should tune it yourself.. The dude did know that you DON'T want knock right?? Not 50 counts of it..

As for contribution maby look for a turbo Hyundai thats got the 4g63 in it.. Or if you can find one local thats rod knocking or something that you can pick the motor out of but i personally would never rebuild that block unless it was going in a lawn mower..

As stated, buy a new one. You can get a 7bolt short block on here for dirt cheap and just have it shipped down there. It may cost you a bit in shipping but worth it compared to the $800 it costs to buy one local to you.

Spoken like someone with no experience. I checked on shipping a 20 lb., 20"x20"x8" package to ecuador a while back... $580 through both Fedex and UPS. It would probably be cheaper to make the mold and cast a new block (and apparently less illegal)

My point was that if a 20 lb package costs that much, just imagine what a block would cost. This was a while back that I checked on shipping some stuff to my brother.

No idea... I'm more of a newb than you :)

But search knew. 95 lbs

OMG

Wow... sorry i'm not an "expert" on shipping to foreign countries... Can someone help me remove the rod (and piston) from this guys ass? :banghead:

I was merely suggesting a possible solution as you can import complete long blocks for these cars from japan to the states for less than $1500. :thumb:

Excuse me for not knowing that it is illegal to import used performance parts to wherever this guy lives. Pricks like you should be banned from posting. :nono:

They are shipping huge crates filled with engines from Japan. Not even remotely similar to shipping one block. Point out one thing I said that was untrue... I'm sorry that my posts don't come sugarcoated so nobody could possibly be offended. And the illegal part was kind of just a sidenote. I wasn't saying you should've known that.

guys this is the past, i already sold the car, the block is still at home, i was just thinking about what to do with it.

just so you know:

i paid $16.800 on this 95 GST stock and spent $6.300 tuning it to its 600 bhp

the car was great on the streets but something went wrong the day i put it on a trackday. at least i smoked a porsche right before my engine went to hell LOL

ohhh to sell it i bought a hyundai 4g63 block and sold it with the car to a tuner garage.

Yeah.. it might be able to be fixed in Cuba they'll fix or make anything from what I've heard, (but then again they've all graduated from the University of Havana) but WHY fix it?
