Well here is the start of my rebuild. I found a spun bearing a few weeks ago and just got around to pulling it out. Since I bought the car I found quite a few things half ass and hacked and the engine proved no different. There were only 3 bolts holding the transmission on, and one of the bolts that attached the pressure plate to the flywheel was snaped. I also found one of the oil scraper rings broken which scored my cylinder wall. All in all im glad I pulled this thing out otherwise it would have cause me all kinds issues down the road. Here are a few pictures, if anyone knows what ACT clutch this is please let me know, I was told its was a 2300 but I dont know and is this a lightened fly wheel? I was going to go with an aluminum one but looks like I may not need to.

Very clean, PROPS to another Black Cherry owner!
Looks like the same thing I had before, ACT2100 with lightweight flywheel

I'd go with a 2600 and a OE replacement flywheel, helped a lot.

I just realized we all have Black Cherry 1g's, very nice!
