Well here is the start of my rebuild. I found a spun bearing a few weeks ago and just got around to pulling it out. Since I bought the car I found quite a few things half ass and hacked and the engine proved no different. There were only 3 bolts holding the transmission on, and one of the bolts that attached the pressure plate to the flywheel was snaped. I also found one of the oil scraper rings broken which scored my cylinder wall. All in all im glad I pulled this thing out otherwise it would have cause me all kinds issues down the road. Here are a few pictures, if anyone knows what ACT clutch this is please let me know, I was told its was a 2300 but I dont know and is this a lightened fly wheel? I was going to go with an aluminum one but looks like I may not need to.
The broken bolt in the fly wheel.
Scoreing due to broken oil scraper ring. Hopefully it can be bored out.
Idk whats with all the oil in the bell housing, Ill tackle that when I get to it
Ill finish stripping it down to the bare block tomorrow, Im tired now
