:dsm: Im very very happy, even tho my mechanic wont get around to swapping it in until next week. I got a Remanufactured 7bolt with everything bacially new. Its bored 0.20 and is soooooo pretty. LOL. i have never seen a motor this shiny. I hope my mechanic knows what he is doing. I cant wait til i break her in and I can put my Big 16g with 550cc and SAFC with datalogger on (and supporting mods).
Ill post some pics when i find my cam. :dsm:

Any tips i could give my mechanic before he does it?

You honestly shouldnt have to give the mechanic tips for putting your engine in. If you did, i would take it somewhere else. Hope all goes well

O if he messes up in the slightest bit, don't let him get away with it. He is legally responsible if he screws up.

thanksm yea im thinkin he knows what he is doing. im excited i can finally be driving a my DSM after 6months of it being broken. Im sure some of u guys know how eciting it is to get ur DSM back. hopefully all goes well and ill break it in right.

hey, I know alot of u guys say "GET A 6 BOLT!" but i didnt get one because I needed a reliable motor. Not saying the 6 bolt isnt reliable but Im not gonna go through the whole swap with my mechanic. I would have to explain to him why i need him to modify mounts and such and it really isnt worth all that to me. Im lookin for around 350hp and the new 7bolt i got will be sufficient. If it crank walks in the next 3 years then its covered and if it does after that than ill just get a built motor.

My mechanic is capable but im just excited and want everything to be perfect. I want all the sensors and such to be put back correctly and i dont want CEL's.

thanks for the input.
keep it coming.
