my jdm red top engine came today but ?s

so i noitced a few things are a bit diff, but the mane thing is it has line for a oil cooler. and im a 92. so could i just loop the oil and if so would would be best. or should i just pick up a oil cooler and where would be the best place for that. whit that being said does that mean i have a 90engine or were jdm just a tad diff. and if its a 90 then should i still use my 92 coils and stuch?

now on to the trans mostly the T/C does it mader witch one i use and how can i tell the diff from the out side? its my understanding that there are diff teeth count?

You can swap you old oil filter housing and that will eliminate the oil lines. If you have the 91 motor you will be fine on the coils. If not you have to do some wiring which I'm not sure on, but you can research how to do it. Half of the 23 spline T/C is cast iron which is very noticable. Half will be iron and the other aluminum. The 22 spline is solid aluminum.

thanks for the info. but how can i tell if i have a 90 or a 91?

I cant really think of anything right now. I do know the throttle bodys look different. Maybe research a little and you will find the answer.
