smoke out of exhaust... burning oil ?

hi ! i just a 96 GS-T and have been driving it for like 2 weeks now. today i look in my rear view and saw a shitload of white smoke coming out of the exhaust everytime i shifted. it was like a huge white cloud almost an explosion. anyways im pretty pissed not sure where i should take it to or what i should do. i looked under the hood and there was a tiny bit of oil on the valve covers dont know if that means anything. i did a mobil 1 synthetic oil change a few days ago. amount of oil is fine.

also my turbo or something kinda makes a funny sounds when accellerating now.. almost like a sucking noise or something. not sure

Thsi happens to me too. I have no idea why. Oil level in my car is fine too. I use Valvoline Maxlife 10w-30. It only happens on the rare occassion.

sounds like ur turbo is on its way to gasping its last breath, are u runing the stock T25? how much PSI? whats the millage on ur car? do u have any oil leaks?

I've got the same problem.. you should be thrilled about it because the T-2Suck is dying and it's time for an uprade

if it's blowing white smoke are you sure it's oil? typically water creates white smoke..not oil. how's your head gasket and compression?

Yeah check the headgasket, the compression, and your anti-freeze level, water could be leaking in to the combustion chamber.

yea thats what my car was doing then i changed the head gasket and it was fine but now i have more problems to deal with, on a good note my car doesnt smoke anymore
