420A SMOG TIME! BUT CEL: P0442 and P1486

So I need to get my car smogged by 2/18/06 and I went to autozone to get it read. The stupid cel light reads:
P0442- EVAP System Leak Detected.
P1486 EVAP Leak Monitor Pinch Hose Found

Furthermore, my idle jumps around, does this have anything to do with these CEL codes?

I was wondering how would I go about fixing this? Should I replace the EVAP hoses? or the whole EVAP canister? I currently attend school and have work, so I hope this is an easy job. Any help would be appreciated.

It could just be the vac hoses and such. you could pull them and inspect for slits, cracks or cuts. and make sure all vac lines are connected in the proper locations. also since you say your idle "jumps around" maybe the hose from the Evap to the intake could be cracked or damaged. or not connected.

I would say just check everything if it looks good clear the codes and see if they come back. if they do then do a thurough check of everything.
