2G Small rust spot on roof

I have a small rust spot on the roof of my car that is about the size of a dime and dont know what I should do about it. Its not very deep, the paint just chipped off and now its starting to rust. Any suggestions??
 
Sand the area down, to get rid of the rust as much as possible, galvonize the area, and paint it again.
