wax on the roof?

quick stupid question. the black part of the roof on my 1g is waxable right? its got a clear like the rest of the car correct? i just am trying to be safe than sorry.

By black part on roof you mean the roof itself, the drip molding what?

When I wax I do everything..As long as it's painted, and cleared, wax it..

nah not the molding, as a detail guy i know thats a no-no. im talking the black roof itself. i didnt know if it was a special deal or normal.

Even if it were a single stage with no clear, itd still be waxable, just an fyi.

yes it is waxable. if its anything like my roof where it is fading really bad and looks like a shade of grey rather than a black, i would recomend that you buy some finishing polish, i went with 3m, thats just what i had at my shop, used that on a microfibre cloth, then used some wax based sealer, it shined up really well and has been holding the shine for a while now. even in this terrible canadian weather
