Alright, so i am really liking this car. have boost gauge installed, but not mounted. here is a couple REALLY stupid questions that i dont know...
1. can i screw the pod right into the A-pillar without killing anything hidden inside?
2. how do i wire up the lights. i know NOTHING about electricity really. do i just find a good ground for the black and where does the white go into?
ok now for the issue.
basically when the engine is cold it happens more, but sometimes when its warm. i know a lot of DSM guys and they have never heard of it before. of course it never happens when they test drive the car
.
so i give it about 1/4 throttle, probably less than normal acceleration throttle. stock boost guage climbs WAY up to about 12 psi. people told me to get the boost gauge in, so i did. i run anywhere between 9 and 11, it bounces around, usually sits at 10 at WOT (this is an auto btw). so the gauge also reads 8 or 9 psi when im at 1/4 throttle (minimal throttle). keep in mind this is at about 2100 rpm or so. the car basically just sits there, doesnt accelerate at all. if i mash it the car just stumbles and falls on it's face (a lot like a manuel transmission car in 4th gear at WOT going 15 mph, doesnt kill, but will buck like no other). the car does not downshift then if i go WOT. if i let off the throttle and go again every now and then it will kick back to normal mode (about 1 or 2 HG/vaccum). i know this sounds all weird but its hard to describe it and i dont know why it is doing this. anyone know?
