What's up guys, I'm doing and auto to 5 speed swap on my nonturbo 4g63. The shifter can go into gear, but there is no H shape path. I can send a video at 619-609-3113 but what's basically happening is I can put it in first and let go, it slides to third. I'm hoping this wont effect my car if it were to be operable, but good thing it's not there yet. PLEASE HELP! Shoot me a text if you have to

sounds like the shifter bushings might be shot on the shifter base

i would go back and double check everything before i started buying replacement parts. it sounds more like you might have over looked hooking something up or it might have come unhooked/loose.
